Nicholas performed with Berkeley's I-House Jazz Band while living at I-House in Fall 2002. As part of this year's virtual global homecoming, the I-House used Nicholas' song, Wheel of Life, to accompany quotes from past residents of their favorite memories. A YouTube video of the quotes is here.

Listen to the title track from Nicholas' last album:
Nicholas is excited to have his short story, "Sylmar," published in the Winter 2020 issue of Please See Me, a literary journal that explores the relationships between doctors and patients in the healthcare environment.
Despite the pandemic changing life in so many ways, Nicholas has kept busy writing a dozen original jazz songs, and recording them over the internet using Apple's Logic Pro X. He frequently jams on the virtual music site, JamKazam, where he has met band members who have come together online from all over the world to record songs and jam on standards. He hopes to release an album of this music early 2021.
