Music Biography
Nicholas Bridgman is a Los Angeles–based pianist and composer whose work spans contemporary jazz and cross‑genre production. He is classically trained, having debuted at age 16 with the New West Symphony. He later developed his jazz voice at U.C. Berkeley, connecting with audiences through creative musical ideas and energized improvisation.
He has released five albums of original contemporary jazz,

including Blue Horizon (2022) and Breaching the Surface (2025), earning features in radio, playlists, and music publications. His work blends the musical and improvisational language of Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea with contemporary jazz voices like David Benoit and Jeff Lorber, while also drawing from jazz‑influenced styles such as lo‑fi and nu‑jazz, and the rhythmic energy of house, EDM, and modern pop.
He is now shaping those influences into a blend of live jazz and groove‑driven electronic production. His latest release, “Intentional,” introduces this evolving direction while staying grounded in the improvisational sensibility that defines his work.
